Dan Peate
Prior to founding Peate Ventures, Dan was Managing Director of Gallagher Equity Advisors where he ran Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s Global Private Equity Practice. He has also held senior roles with Scanlon, Guerra, Jacobsen & Burke and Aon Corporation. Over the past 4 years, Dan and his wife Maria have invested personally in several early-stage ventures. Dan sits on the boards of ACG 101, Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Thomas Aquinas College and the Moorpark College Foundation, where he is Chairman of the Board. Dan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and was an intern for President Ronald Reagan.
John Peate
Prior to Peate Ventures, John worked on finance and merger & acquisition projects for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. John is a graduate from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Finance and Entrepreneurship. John was a member of the Varsity Track team at USC where he holds the 10th fastest time in USC history in the Steeple chase.
Katherine Chang
Prior to joining Peate Ventures, Katherine worked at The Walt Disney Company where she was responsible for managing and developing the Amazon and eBay platforms for its Disney Consumer Products division. She also worked at SunAmerica Retirement Markets, Inc. Katherine graduated from UCLA with a degree in International Development Studies. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for local organizations, such as Reading for Kids and Center for Asian Performing Arts.
